Science and Health
As a forward-looking institution, we are compelled to provide programs and facilities that will help our students become innovative leaders. We have seen a surge in interest in programs in health and environmental sciences, and we are preparing to accommodate these students’ needs for the sake of those they will serve.
A Bold Heart: The Centennial Campaign for Marywood University will help us build on our regionally distinctive biotechnology and physician assistant programs.
We also plan to construct a dedicated organic chemistry laboratory, make additions to our classroom and faculty office areas, and help pave the way for a potential, future expansion of the Center for Natural and Health Sciences by way of a connection to and incorporation of Maria Hall. With these facility and programmatic improvements, we will ensure that future science students are provided with the very best training to prepare for careers requiring research, theoretical, and hands-on experience in natural and health sciences. The interdependent world is calling for responsible, effective natural and health scientists and caregivers. Marywood University is poised to respond to that need.
