Enrollment Services Technical Specialist (#979)

Summary of Duties

The Enrollment Services Technical Specialist manages the critical technical processes for key Admissions and Financial Aid Software applications including Ellucian Recruit, Colleague, and Image Now. 



Requirements

  • Educational:

    • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, especially a strong proficiency with Excel 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and to collaborate effectively as part of a team
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner
    • Effective oral and written communication skills                                                                                                

  • Work Experience Requirements:

    • Experience working in a college or University Admissions and or Financial Aid environment
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, Ellucian Recruit, Ellucian Colleague, and Image Now

  • Essential Elements:

    • Manage data reporting for the Enrollment Services division
    • Manage the import and export processes of various external data sources
    • Create and manage Admissions web-interfaces through Recruit 
    • Work with IT analysts in managing the technical aspects of mapping information being transferred between different enterprise systems
    • Train Admissions and Financial Aid staff on Colleague, recruit, Image Now, and various related technologies 
    • Manage the electronic delivery of all e-communications sent by Admissions 
    • Test and support existing functionalities through various upgrade and patches 
    • Research and implement new functionality made available through various upgrades
    • Identify and resolve technical problems with Recruit, Colleague, and other Admissions and Financial Aid software 
    • Oversee the operational maintenance and data integrity of the Admissions databases
    • Function as the primary liaison to IT and various technology vendors 
    • Provide user management and security roles within Recruit and other Admissions software
    • Assist users in query development for Recruit, Colleague, and other Admissions software
    • Other duties as assigned
